Expect progress, not perfection.

It’s the new year. Time to turn the page and start fresh. Never mind that half the people who make new year’s resolutions abandon them within six months. Make this the year you reach your goals by looking at RESOLUTIONS in a new way:
Reflect on the changes you will need to make to reach the goals you have for this NEW YEAR. It is true that “if nothing changes, nothing changes.” So, as you turn the page on this calendar year, set your mind on one or two lifestyle habits that you may want to approach differently for the next 365 days.
Go ahead. Try that low-fat milk. Take an apple to work for an afternoon snack instead of grabbing a candy bar. Order a salad instead of cream soup at a restaurant. Each step along the way will get you closer to your preferred destination.
Every day of your life is a new beginning, not just the first day of the year. You can make Daily Resolutions, not just New Year Resolutions. Any day is suitable for making them.Regard every day as the beginning of your new, better, and happier life. Start every day of the year with feelings of happiness and with the anticipation that great and wonderful things are going to happen.Regardless of your circumstances, begin every day of the year with a smile, hope and expectations. You are not cheating yourself, because this attitude, if you persevere with it, would make you a more positive and happy person.Every day, restate your goals and your decisions for your new, happy and successful life. At the same time, be open to new ideas and opportunities, and for ways to achieve your goals.

Goodbye

School is only for the open minded and strong, the weak cannot survive. You may have learned about math, science, social studies, and language arts but only a handful of students actually learn lifelong lessons to be in a productive society. School holds many things in its classrooms and hallways. Having great teachers and mentors will benefit you in school. Their wisdom and knowledge will contribute to you in ways unimaginable. School can teach you plenty and these are a couple of the many of things I have learned. Fourth Grading Period is a tough one. But I'm glad that I surpassed all those obstacles that I encountered and I'm very happy because I learned so much and experienced many unforgettable moments that I will bring for the rest of my life. Moving on, I will use those struggles as my inspiration and motivation to keep on going and thrive harder. Moving up

As I venture outside the box, I don't think I expect that much. The people that I have been close with in this family have challenged me and molded me into who I am today. I hope that in the future, we will still be friends and may we never forget the memories that we have shared together.   I wish for the success of my colleagues. The future is very bright for us, so let us claim and fulfill our dreams. I see some future CPAs, MDs, ATTYs, COLs, and ENGRs among us. May we face the future with upmost confidence as we show the greatness we posse Everyone has dreams. Weather they be to become a scientist and discover new and amazing things, or become a star basketball player and be the highest paid player in the league, people dream about their future. I have dreams for the future just like everyone else. Dreams of the good life, with lots of money, hot girls, and fast cars! And I will do whatever it takes to achieve it. For my future, I'm planning to take on STEM for my se...

New chapter

We must all change the way we think and act. I am responsible for the way I think and act. It would be tomfoolery to place the responsibility of my transformation in character, in the hands of another. Maturity starts when we own our mistakes and take the necessary action of correcting them. Change however does not occur in isolation. One person’s transformation is sustained by another’s. We are fully interdependent and we need each other. It is I who must begin.  Once I begin, once I try  here and now,  right where I am,  not excusing myself  by saying things  would be easier elsewhere,  without grand speeches and  ostentatious gestures,  but all the more persistently  to live in harmony with the “voice of Being,” as I  understand it within myself   as soon as I begin that,  I suddenly discover,  to my surprise, that  I am neither the only one,  nor the first,  nor the most importan...
